This is my third time participating in the Teens Can Write Too, or TWCT Blog Chain. Click on the picture above to visit the Teens Can Write Too blog. The August 2014 prompt is “What characters are you most like?”. It’s going to be a short post because I’m crunched for time, but I have confidence that you will still enjoy it.
I am like Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien because I have more courage than I think.
I am like Lucy Pevensie from The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis because I’m not afraid to explore the world around me.
I am like Natalie from The School Story by Andrew Clements because I love to write and it is my dream to publish a book one day.
I am like Cinder from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer because I love hands-on science.
I am like Nancy Drew from The Nancy Drew Series by Carolyn Keene because I never stop asking questions when I want answers.
I am like Laura from The Little House Series by Laura Ingalls Wilder because I love spending time exploring the great outdoors (and when I was little I also enjoyed running around in a bonnet at recess).
I am like Belle from The Beauty and the Beast produced by Disney because I always seem to have my nose stuck in a good book.
I am like the characters from some of my favorite books and movies, and that is the reason behind my love for these stories.
Well, that’s it for today’s post. And if you want some more opinions on this topic (because I know you do), check out the other blogs in the chain.
