Hi, my name is Ana. Welcome to my little corner of the Internet, where I love to post book reviews as well as bookish discussions and projects.
I am first and foremost a family member and Christian. After that comes my role as a student. I take school very seriously and I love to challenge myself academically whenever I can.
I am an avid reader. In my free time I devour books like a starving monkey plopped down in front of a bunch of bananas. My favorite books are MG or clean YA historical fiction. I also adore the classics, specifically anything by Charles Dickens, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S Lewis, Jane Austen and Harper Lee. However, I’m open to reading many different types of books including science fiction, contemporary and fairy tale retellings.
I am an aspiring writer. I’ve dabbled in short stories and poems for as long as I could hold a pen, but recently I’ve been tackling much lengthier works. Yep, that’s right. I’ve been writing books. I’m currently writing my second book and I love being able to spend so much time developing one huge story. I also have recently taken an interest in writing short nonfiction pieces. My writing is very much like my reading in that I am open to so many forms of writing.
I am a cross country runner. I always thought that I was not athletic. It wasn’t until three and a half years ago that I realized that I could actually take long strides (literally) in long distance running. While I may not have much coordination, I do have endurance and determination, and that has only fueled my love for running.
Finally, I am an artist. I love to sew or knit my own clothing and I can often be found spending long hours at my sewing machine or with my knitting needles. I also love photography and I’m in a never-ending quest to find out how to take the perfect picture with an iPad. I am also a musician as I play both the violin and the piano.
I hope you enjoy my blog just as much I enjoy writing the posts for it. If you do enjoy my blog, I hope that you’ll take the time to comment (I love striking up a conversation), share a post, or even follow my blog. Have fun!
